Digital Design, Behind the Screen - 10 & 11 January 2019

This fascinating behind the screen tour through our digital lives invites teens to explore “how things work” and answers some of the baffling questions about learning and living in the digital age.

Whether your child’s passion is technology or creativity this school holiday program is a wonderful way for them to be curious, use their imagination and think critically about technology and digital media.

The program is delivered by people working in the industry. Students will have the opportunity to meet journalists, cartoonists, game-developers, animators, product developers, entrepreneurs and more; all of whom are keen to share their enthusiasm and knowledge and encourage ‘Aha!’ moments as they reveal the science hidden below the surface of our digital lives.

Through challenges and hands-on activities, students are also encouraged to become creators rather than just consumers of digital media.

The Format:
The program is suitable for students aged 11-16 years (no technology or coding ability is required).
